Some really cool looking features there, I hope it comes together very polished and epic, if so I’ll be all over it.

ugh… this game is really horrible from a comic fan point of view. gotta say the gameplay looks a lot better than I thought it would, though.

I’m not a fan of comics or fighters, so that works for me.

also, I think it’s weird that DC would take the chance on a weird-ass MK team-up, not just from a fan point of view - the last couple Mortal Kombat games were god awful.

I thought they got pretty good reviews?  Oh well, I loved MK2 and MK3 but haven’t really played them at all since then.  I was into fighters when I was younger mainly but haven’t liked them much since besides the classics and Smash.

After MK3 the MK series turned into a pile of shit and completely disgraced what it used to be. I don’t know about this either, like it looks like it could be slightly entertaining to see peoples special moves and such, but I can’t see getting hardcore into it and mastering the gameplay. Either way it just seems like a cheap gimmick to get people to get back into the MK series to me.

3D MK games feel extremely clunky, specially after playing games like Soul Calibur and Virtua Fighter and Tekken. Well basically every other 3D fighter out there. I still think they should make the next one 2D just like the originals, with real people, but in HD. How fucking epic would that be.

Judging from the video, Sub Zero and the Flash are broken as hell. The fighting engine looks alright, but still kind of clunky, and the close combat thing seems like a really bad idea. The free falling thing looks like it might be kind of interesting though. I’m not even going to let myself go all nerd rage about the Superman weakness against magic thing.

honestly, they’ve explained away superman to a decent degree… it’s the flash that would technically be unbeatable. like… he’s so fast, his clothes are made of speed (wiki that shit) - I don’t see how (or if, really) they’re gonna explain anyone being able to land a punch on him.

I don’t think they have. Does this mean that you can ONLY have DC vs MK? So I can’t have batman vs superman because batman doesn’t have any magic? WTF shit would that be?!

honestly I haven’t really read into it too hard, but I assume there’s some sort of magic permeating the whole place when MK crosses over. who knows?

yeah the video said that their story mode explains most of it. but either way it’s gonna be lame. i don’t think this game looks very good, but i also havnt liked a MK game since… maybe the 3rd?

no opinion yet, i’ll wait for the reviews. i hope its good, just cause i havnt cared for MK sence the 3rd
