It actually went up $50 a day after I bought it. I’m finally going to be able to make short films again. I’m also gonna do a gaming show with some friends. I’ll show you guys some stuff when I get things done.

This baby films in 1080p HD onto a hard drive. So no worrying about getting new tapes or expensive ass SDHC cards.

And after some major color correction in After Effects my vids are gonna be Ice, baby.

Tough titties on a donkey stick. Well I got my camera today. And it was orgasmic. I was playing around with all the features and settings getting the ones that worked best for me. When I saw that the manual focus was off I rolled out on my rollie chair across the room to grab the manual to see how to turn it on. And as I did that I suddenly heard a thud. Actually more like a “cr cr cr cr SPLAT!” I turned around and my heart sank. My brand new camera was on the floor in front of my desk. The TILE floor. So I hurriedly went to check on it and everything seemed to be working fine, but the sound seemed a bit crackly. I was hoping it was just something hitting the mic when suddenly I tilted it back and felt pieces moving inside.

I called support and only told them I got the camera today and there were loose parts on the inside. They asked me if I wanted to return or exchange it and I of course said exchange. So it’s all gonna be good, just annoying that I have to wait another week for it.

Well from the very brief time that I played with it and the videos I’ve seen, this seems to be the best bang for the buck. And believe me, it’s quite the bang. Price changes very frequently so keep an eye on it on both amazon and BH, because apparently (at least according to google search) everywhere else is a scam.
