yeah i hate when boomers puke on you cuz you know you have to run away cuz the horde is coming after you… but at the same time you cant see shit and you dont wanna shoot teammates. i think smokers are the worst cuz sometimes they are just on top of buildings and stuff (or thru doors like you said) and all of a sudden you’re being pulled back without even seeing them.

lol, yes. Although once a smoker that was like 5 feet from me pulled me up, so I was actually able to melee him as he dragged me in. That was quite sweet.

hah nice… i didnt realize until just yesterday that if you melee his tounge or something.. you can actually free the person… i always thought you had to actually kill the smoker

Well I’m getting it for PC and it unlocks at midnight tonight for Steam users.  I know me and Jeroman will be playing.

Well even if I bought it for Steam I’d still have to at least wait until Friday when I get paid.

So apparently they went by Eastern time for L4D strangely but it’s available as of roughly 30 minutes ago.

yeah it did… i started playing with some friends at about 12:40 after i ate and decrypted and downloaded and decrypted some more, and then steam crashing.. and then having trouble joining their game and then making my own lobby for them to join and then not finding a server.. and then finally finding one -___-

but yeah we just played thru no mercy.. and it was pretty much awesome. we got all the way to the rooftop showdown and then we got fucked up like 4 times in a row. one of our guys already had to leave before we got there… then one had to leave after we died trying like 3 times… so we ended up just quitting without beating it :( one time i was literally 3 steps away from the heli to end the game… but i had to turn around to save a friend cuz tank was beating the shit out of him… then as i got to him and killed tank my friend died… i turned around to run.. and a swarm of zombies pinned me down and incapacitated me… fucking lammmme… but it was really intense and we all laughed about it pretty hard

short story: really fucking fun

I only did Death Toll and we completed it.  Why didn’t you escape without your friend?  He would have died but you guys would have at least won.

well i didnt realize that he was the only one alive… also he wasnt knocked down when i went back for him.. i was up on the helipad and i just went back so i could give him some cover… then tank knocked him down so i jumped down to kill tank… but it was too late… and i thought i was gonna make it out of there alive… until a horde of zombies climbed up the other side of the helipad… they can run much faster than me haha

but yeah… NEVER LEAVE A MAN BEHIND!

also i didnt know if we would win if i left him there… i figured that all the ppl alive would have to be on the heli in order to win… if i would have known tank was gonna come up behind him and pwn him.. i probably would have left him haha

Dude, you ALWAYS leave a man behind. Was playing versus today as infected and a friend who was a survivor immediately jumped for the safe room and closed the door leaving the other three outside trying to fight off us infected. Really if he hadn’t done that we woulda won the round, specially since we had a tank.

I thought you couldn’t close the door until everyone was in.  I swear I tried and it wouldn’t let me.  I assume you can reopen it after closing it, but enemies can’t open it?

yeah i’m pretty sure that’s how it works… it will only let you close the door and end the level if all living survivors are inside… otherwise it just closes but can be reopened. once when we were playing the demo 3 of us got inside.. and our CPU player got pinned and killed outside by a hunter… it said he was “incapacitated” or whatever… and it let us end the level… but if the survivors are able to walk around.. then it wont let you end the level
