I don’t see how it’s like Liar Liar.  I mean I see how the premises are similar but I don’t see how it’s exactly the same, not to mention the never lying thing will lead to much different circumstances than saying yes to everything.

I read the book last summer and this looks completly different. Of course they changed the plot quite a bit but Jim Carrey just doesn’t fit the role. The book was also a bit more philosophical and had that whole “meaning of life” theme to it(without getting boring). The book(which is based on a true story[this guy said yes to basically everything for 6 months i think]) had enough funny situations and doesn’t need Jim Carrey to pull wierd faces to make it funny.

This doesn’t look anything like a good adaption of Yes Man should, even as a non-adaption of the book this movie doesn’t appeal to me at all. I don’t like Jim Carey anyway, I’ll pass.
